I know girls hardly a stretch for the queen of bling but I couldnt resist. The main image is Stampin Up Bloomin with Beauty Stamp set, used my nestabilities and the background paper is also Stampin Up Tea Party. The flowers are Prima, used a cuttlebug embossing folder for a border highlighted with gems.
This is a great fairly new challenge blog which features Stampin Up Products, this weeks challenge was a recipe of 2 card stock and 4 papers and no other embellishments. I used the Playful petals stamp set, almost amethyst and so saffron card and the Tea Party designer series papers 4 patterns.
It reminds me of my Mums kitchen which is a nice memory cos she has been gone for a few years now and a bit of nostalgia now and then never hurt anyone
Hello all, having techno problems, I must have a magnetic force field around me that messes up computers will need to make this quick cos i am at work. This card is made using PB stamp, almost amethyst Stampin up ink, Cuttlebug embossing folders and some gems from my stash. Like this one and I rarely say that.
These weeks colour challenge was pinks, reds and blues, all really bright colours as you can see in the inspirational photo they provided. The card stock is all stampin Up - Pixie Pink, Real Red and Turquoise. The main image is from the Doodle that SU set. The sentiment is from Birthday Cheers and Wishes set. I used the SU scallop and oval punches also. The ribbons and buttons etc are from my stash.
Wow Happy Birthday PBSC!!!! Must admit altho I have many favourites I do love my Penny Blacks!!!! Made this card using my PB Flying Stars stamp, coredinations cardstock, bit of glitter and the sentiment is Stampin Up Wonderful Words. The card blank is from Craftwork Cards.
Thanks for dropping by, its nice to be up and blogging again.
Have you ever had one of those days??? This is my third attempt at a congratulations card for this challenge. All these gorgeous stamps and no mojo!!! What a nightmare! Anyway this one was going to be scrapped and then I started doodling etc and trying to cover up ink smudges and even though I am a less is more type person in the end it turned out reasonably well.
I used SU real red ink and cardstock, SU Doodle That stamp set and stazon and watercolours. The black gems are from my stash and the sentiment is from the Cheers and Wishes SU stamp set.
Hope you are having a great day and mine can only get better lol
I cant believe it has been 9 days since my last post. That is just beyond ridiculous!! Got some new Stampin Up goodies in and there is a nice quote in one of the sets called 'By the Sea'. This card is very basic just using SU choclate chip, natural and bashful blue card stock, choc chip ink and the stamp is coloured in with a watercolour crayon. I was copying an idea I saw in the SU catalogue to just colour in the girls dress. Hope you like it and thanks for dropping by.
Its been a busy week so a bit late posting everything. I used Anna Griffin bg papers for this one, A PB image mounted using my nestabilities. The flowers are by Prima, The sentiment is from Stampin Up Birthday Cheer and Wishes. I added a bit of Gold stickles to the image for a change.
I really liked this sketch and I sometimes struggle with sketches however I finally finished my card. I used SU Tea Party BG papers(cos they are the only ones I have, more on the way) The tree stamp is from SU Very Versatile (a great set) the cardstock is Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery. The sentiment is from the Wonderful Words set. Great sketch to work with
This weeks challenge was to use a recipe which was 3 buttons, 2 layers and 1 sentiment. I think I have fit everything in. I found this old glitter card stock that I made the base with. I used my nestabilities for the two layers. The sentiment is from Stampin Up Wonderful Words collection. The buttons are from my stash and I just punched some leaves and flowers out of scraps.
I am originally from Toronto but now live in Scotland with my husband Chris and our sons Kieran(16) and Liam (13).
I go home to Canada to visit as often as I can. It was there I got introduced to scrapbooking and then my Aunt Rita who lives in Scotland got me hooked on card making.
I love all things spiritual and have a big interest in the Paranormal. I love any movies or TV shows on this subject.
