Loved this sketch, nice clean lines, used some pink paper from K and Co Sweet talk range and alos some coredinations card stock. Stamp is Penny Black. The ribbon, flower gems and greeting are from my stash.
Another great challenge from the Cuttlebug Blog we were supposed to make a card using distressing techniques (whatever we preferred) I used Artylicious CD Rom Damask Delights as back ground paper along. Took some coredinations card stock in a plum colour embossed it through the cuttlebug and sanded it down, Next I tore 3 circles of blue coredinations card stock embossed them through the cuttlebug. scrunched them up and then layered them into a rose shape. (technique i learned from Allison thanks Ali) tore a couple of leaves and added a button with some string tied through it. Then I used my new Tim Holtz Distress Stickles to outline the flower. Added a peel off greeting coloured in with a permanent marker.
Had already made tons of Valentines but hadnt made one for my husband yet. Wait til you here what he did to me last year. He asked me to make myself a card, he said he couldnt buy one as nice as the ones I make (yeah right too lazy to go to the shop) So anyway I made myself a gorgeous card and charged him £20!!!!! Serves him right. Anyway here is his valentine for this year. The papers are from Jen Wilson i embossed some vellum and the heart through the cuttlebug. added some black gems and ribbon. Sentiment is from Penny Black. Hope he likes it (well actually after last year I dont really care if he likes it LOL!!!)
Got some new PB stamps in so couldnt wait to get started on this one. The papers are K and Company, the stamp is from 'Hugs' transparent set. Coloured it in with watercolour pencils and glittered the flower. The frame was made on my Cricut using Accent Essentials cartridge and Coredinations card stock which i also emboseed through the cuttlebug. The sentiment is from Craft work Cards (roll on SECC craft fair so i can visit their stand) The buttons and ribbons etc are from my stash.
One of my favourite craft designers has started a blog challenge, so I am in on it right away. The theme was Celebrate and the colour scheme Plum and Gold. I used papers from Damask Delights CDrom by Artylicious. Some Gold Mirror and some plum coredinations card stock ran through the cuttlebug. I stamped a heart stamp i found in my stash all over the bg paper and embossed in gold. Added a sentiment, some heart charms, adhesive stones (got to get my bling in somewhere) and some plum velvet ribbon
I hope you like it and thanks for dropping by. Am hoping to meet new bloggers through the Graphicus Challenge

Love to follow the cuttlebug challenge blog. Firstly because my friend is on the DT and also because I love my cuttlebug, it is so versatile. For this card, i cut out some scallop circles on my cbug. Then using cbug again embossed them in the stylized flower and another floral folder. The papers are from the Damask Delights CD by Artylicious. My printer was running out of coloured ink so it is a lovely soft shade, its usually a lot darker this particular background paper. The sentiment is a stamp from Penny Black. I added buttons and flower and then decided to cut out a couple of butterflies on the cbug (see what i mean about versatility) added a few adhsive gems and attached to card. I tried to follow the sketch as closely as possible it was very detailed but a great design.
Havent managed to do this challenge for a couple of weeks so thought i would give it a try. This is basic grey 'Sugared' paper and chipboard pieces, coredinations card stock, ribbons from my stash. Sentiment tag is K & co.
This week the challenge was to get dotty. Didnt think i had much dotty stuff but i printed out some pink petticoat paper and used a border punch with dots, embossed some white card with swiss dots on the cuttlebug. Then i drew a few extra dots on my card and on the flowers with a white gel pen. The stamp is Bunny friends. I am actually sending this card to my friend who I have recently got in touch with via Facebook. We havent seen each other in over 20 years since high school. I know she has a pet rabbit so i am guessing she will like the bunnies.
Thought this was a really nice sketch so thought I would made another Valentine card with it. Used my new K and Co papers, some coredinations cardstock, little heart charm, some gems and ribbon and bits from my stash. Stamped 2 different hearts in brilliance ink and cut out.
I love all my folders but the Stylised Flower must be my favourite because I use it the most often. I just love the delicate pattern. I have printed off some Artylicious papers off a CD rom and used some coloured and white card. Ran the white card through my Cuttlebug. Just added a fairy image, i think i cut it from a calender??? I then used some ribbon from my collection (extensive collection in a huge mess in a drawer). Finally added some bling and a little butterfly done on the cuttlebug.
thought i would give this one a go cos i used buttons on practically everything, the stamp is Penny Black and everything else is just from my stash. Like everybody else I have so much stuff and I am trying to use it up before i buy any more (yeah right)
This is my take on this sketch. The papers are from Funky Hand and the cardstock is coredinations embossed with cuttlebug. The image is from Pink Petticoat (Lolas little sister) Used my martha stewart doily punch (these punches are all really good i got them in us but you can get them on ebay) Just added some heart shaped buttons and some ribbon.
This weeks challenge was to use the colour theme of pink and brown. I think they look good together and they remind me of that ice cream you get with the 3 colours in it!!! The stamp is cheesecake wishes and the papers are Anna Griffin just added a crocheted flower, some ribbon and some adhesive pearls.
Thought I would give this challenge blog a look and decided to have a go. The challenge is to use something you got for Christmas. I bought my own Xmas presents this year because we were over in Orlando and I got myself some goodies from Michaels craft superstore!!! The paper is Basic Grey (sugared) as are the embellishments. The other new thing I used is my Martha Stewart lattice border punch. Thank you for visiting
Better late than never I always say. Papers are Perhaps from Basic Grey as are the buttons and ribbon, used the cricut to cut out a lot of the shapes. The stamp is by Sugar Nellie. found this one quite challenging.
I thought this was a great challenge. I think white can be very elegant if its done right. just used some pale pink ribbon and a pale pink sentiment, some pearls from my stash. The rest is white and embossed on the cuttlebug. Used a border punch also.
I used some papers from Designer Digitals that i havent used for awhile. The greeting is from Craftwork Cards,I got the butterflies at one of the craft shows. Used the cuttlebug to emboss some white card and the embellishments are from my stash. Used my new Martha Stewart double scallop punch (again). Am not sure if i like it or not??? Its a mojo thing from being away on holiday I'll get it back in the next few days.
Hello one and all in blog land!!! Just back from Orlando Florida where we spent Christmas and New Year. The weather was glorious and we had a fantastic time. Have never been away for the holidays before and I would recommend it to anyone. Talk about stress free!!!!
Have just posted a couple of new cards for challenges and its great to be back in the land of the crafting!!!
Like this challenge cos have been using the coredinations card stock for a couple of months now and i emboss then sand it quite a lot. This is a thank you card made using Basic Grey paper and buttons, I used my new punch I got in Florida called Double Scallop. The butterflies are done with Cuttlebug as well as the embossed and sanded panel along the side of the card.
Hello there the first blog post of the new year for me!!! Used some funky hand papers from new CD and coredinations cardstock embossed on the Cuttlebug/ Added ribbon i picked up in Florida at Michaels (IT IS AN AMAZING CRAFT SHOP THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVENT BEEN) The stamp is Cheesecake wishes which i coloured in with watercolour pencils.
