Papertake Weekly - Dawnys Sketch 7

Loved this sketch, nice clean lines, used some pink paper from K and Co Sweet talk range and alos some coredinations card stock. Stamp is Penny Black. The ribbon, flower gems and greeting are from my stash.

Cuttlebug Challenge 16 - Distressing

Another great challenge from the Cuttlebug Blog we were supposed to make a card using distressing techniques (whatever we preferred) I used Artylicious CD Rom Damask Delights as back ground paper along. Took some coredinations card stock in a plum colour embossed it through the cuttlebug and sanded it down, Next I tore 3 circles of blue coredinations card stock embossed them through the cuttlebug. scrunched them up and then layered them into a rose shape. (technique i learned from Allison thanks Ali) tore a couple of leaves and added a button with some string tied through it. Then I used my new Tim Holtz Distress Stickles to outline the flower. Added a peel off greeting coloured in with a permanent marker.

Cuttlebug Challenge #14 - page mapping sketch

Love to follow the cuttlebug challenge blog. Firstly because my friend is on the DT and also because I love my cuttlebug, it is so versatile. For this card, i cut out some scallop circles on my cbug. Then using cbug again embossed them in the stylized flower and another floral folder. The papers are from the Damask Delights CD by Artylicious. My printer was running out of coloured ink so it is a lovely soft shade, its usually a lot darker this particular background paper. The sentiment is a stamp from Penny Black. I added buttons and flower and then decided to cut out a couple of butterflies on the cbug (see what i mean about versatility) added a few adhsive gems and attached to card. I tried to follow the sketch as closely as possible it was very detailed but a great design.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge Week 32

This week the challenge was to get dotty. Didnt think i had much dotty stuff but i printed out some pink petticoat paper and used a border punch with dots, embossed some white card with swiss dots on the cuttlebug. Then i drew a few extra dots on my card and on the flowers with a white gel pen. The stamp is Bunny friends. I am actually sending this card to my friend who I have recently got in touch with via Facebook. We havent seen each other in over 20 years since high school. I know she has a pet rabbit so i am guessing she will like the bunnies.

Sketch Saturday Sketch # 34

Thought this was a really nice sketch so thought I would made another Valentine card with it. Used my new K and Co papers, some coredinations cardstock, little heart charm, some gems and ribbon and bits from my stash. Stamped 2 different hearts in brilliance ink and cut out.

Valentines Card (just for fun)

Made this Valentine card from a design I saw in a magazine that was actually an

Cuttlebug Challenge no 14 - Favourite folder

I love all my folders but the Stylised Flower must be my favourite because I use it the most often. I just love the delicate pattern. I have printed off some Artylicious papers off a CD rom and used some coloured and white card. Ran the white card through my Cuttlebug. Just added a fairy image, i think i cut it from a calender??? I then used some ribbon from my collection (extensive collection in a huge mess in a drawer). Finally added some bling and a little butterfly done on the cuttlebug.

Arty Girlz challenge no 68 'button it'

thought i would give this one a go cos i used buttons on practically everything, the stamp is Penny Black and everything else is just from my stash. Like everybody else I have so much stuff and I am trying to use it up before i buy any more (yeah right)
